Creactivity: two intense days of conferences, meetings and workshops on project culture, between education and profession, since 19 years
Crea©tivity, Research and Innovation in Design, now in its 19th edition, is an event with an international flavour. Now in its 19th edition, its aim is to connect the world of education, represented over the years by over 10,000 students and professors from high schools and universities, with that of the profession: hundreds of guests, experts, companies, institutions and professionals who each year share their experiences and visions. An opportunity for reflection on the role and cultural dynamics between schools, universities, companies. The beating heart of the event is the WorkOut workshop: for 24 hours, 350 students discuss with experts, outlining concepts for new projects, accompanied by senior tutors and junior tutors, the latter students winners of previous editions. In parallel, round tables, presentations, meetings. The presentation and award ceremony for the best works will conclude the event.

Crea©tivity's numbers
Welcome to the nineteenth edition of Creactivity, this year dedicated to the New Vintage theme.
On the stages of our Open Conference, designers, experts and technologists will take turns to explore the ebbs and flows of products, visions and technologies: solutions, materials and languages that from the recent or distant past return to inspire the present and future. We will rediscover paddle boats, boats with wings, techno-bamboos, new generation airships, steampunk furniture and even anaerobic earthworms for space colonies. Our event, now more than a decade old, also reflects these creative vibes, revisiting old challenges and responding to new needs, proposing social and cultural visions that cyclically resurface in the contemporary world.
Join us in this Creactivity 2024 edition, to discover how déjà vu can become the engine of the future!
Where it takes place
The Crea©tivity event has always been held in the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera, located in the company’s historic headquarters, in that corner of the province of Pisa that has been an international reference point for mobility design for over a century. It is not only a symbol of industrial production, but also the birthplace of the legendary Vespa, born in 1946 as a response to the need for simple and accessible mobility and which has become an international icon of Made in Italy. The fascinating spaces of the Piaggio Museum host an event where design, creativity, innovation, education and industrial culture intertwine.
In November, this unique context becomes the stage for conferences, meetings, exhibitions, workshops and lateral thinking activities, to welcome and inspire new generations of creatives and designers.
