Francesca Piani
Museo Salvatore Ferragamo
Passionate about Fashion Heritage, impossible challenges and Theatre, I am lucky enough to actively participate in each of these fields.
I graduated in Cultural Heritage Conservation from the University of Siena, with a degree thesis on the ‘History of Applied Arts and Goldsmithing.’ During my studies, I completed several internships sponsored by the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage Management, as well as various professional experiences in event organization and communication. I joined Ferragamo in March 2007 and held several positions with increasing responsibility. For six years, I worked as the Executive Assistant to the Director of the Museo Salvatore Ferragamo. During this time, I gained valuable experience in exhibition and corporate event management. In 2013, I became the Coordinator of the Ferragamo Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to manage, protect, and promote the Company’s historical archive, working side by side with the Museo. Additionally, it organizes educational projects dedicated to craftsmanship and the arts. I was responsible for developing and overseeing all activities of the Foundation.
My specialization was in building brand heritage and managing projects related to the conservation, valorization, and communication of fashion and art collections.
