With a background in electronics and computer vision, supported by a Ph.D., I’ve consistently enjoyed collaborating on cutting-edge technologies as part of talented teams.
Initially delving into neuroscience (2004-2010), I co-developed a pioneering wireless neuronal recording system and engineered computer vision algorithms to understand tactile senses, as evidenced by our widely-cited publications.
Transitioning into aerospace (2011-2020) with Pipistrel, I led several innovative electric and hybrid-electric aircraft projects. From my roles as Global Sales Manager to R&D Program Manager, I navigated various EU projects, forging strategic partnerships and overseeing projects from inception to successful flight tests.
During a three-year interim experience in the railway industry, I gained insights into its unique dynamics compared to air transport, applying operations modeling to enhance decision-making in large infrastructure investments.
In 2023, I returned to my original passion for aerospace, rejoining Pipistrel after Textron’s acquisition. Today, I’m thrilled to contribute to the successful delivery of exceptional projects at Pipistrel.
